It is the goal of sophisticated architectural
photography to condense all characteristic elements of a buildings in one or
few images.
Beside contemporary office buildings,
industrial production centers, research
facilities and training centers this presentation of images also exhibit a series of
pictures of bridges and steel constructions.
The documentation of the effects of artificial lightning – building facade lighting,
street lighting and room illumination –
is another interesting field of activity.
To produce perspectively correct images
efficient, in most cases a shift
lens is a fine option. But sometimes,
under narrow room conditions, the angel
of view of this lens is too small. In such
cases, stitched panoramic photography
helps to keep all relevant objects inside
the frame.
Panoramas are also used to produce images of extreme high
resolution.
